NEED TO COMPLETELY GET ORIGIN OFF MY COMPUTER AND THEN SAFELY RE INSTALLED

Hi okay so first off, i have windows 8.1 and I've had the sims 3 base game before on a disk and installed it and set up origin just fine the first time. i added expansion packs and all that just the same way and had no problems. all of these were with the disk. then i started downloading custom content and i wasn't careful with it so the game began crashing and resetting and doing all sorts of weird things. so i completely uninstalled it all. then i bought the sims 4 base game online with a code and i had such a hard time getting origin again, but it eventually worked, but it only lasted about a month and then again, crashed and restarted and just quit working like it did with the sims 3. i want to download both the sims 3 and 4 again, but im having trouble completely uninstalling origin and then re installing it again. basically i need help with getting origin off of my computer completely and then safely reinstalling it so i can get the sims 3 and 4 again

You can manually uninstall Origin using the specific steps here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

Reboot and then download the most recent installer from here: https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/download

Run the Origin installer and then retest again. Do let us know how you get on, thanks.
