My saved game won't load

When I open my saved game The Sims 3 just crashes and my computer closes the game. I have used The Sims 3 in a windowed screen but the same problem occurs. Someone please help me.

Does the same occur with a new game ?

Are you using custom content or mods ?

Do you get any error messages ?

I had this happen with bad saves.

Go into Documents

EA

The Sims 3

Saves

Check to see if there is a bad save and delete it

Take the backup of the game and delete the word backup and try to run the save again. A year or so ago, I had to do this all of the time and it usually worked.
