Installation Error

My Sims 3 Ambition Expansion pack won't install. An error keeps popping up and i have to press RETRY but nothing works. What do I do? Can I install the game via the Internet?

@julian_08071998 Is your base game in Origin? What is the version of your game - lower left in the launcher? By redeeming AMB in Origin you can get the digital download version. Older games (non Origin) should continue to work until there is a change/addition. At that point you may have to update your game to Origin. Need to know if your computer is a pc or mac? Is the base game in origin (version 1.69 or higher)?
