How do I register my games?

I am trying to register a couple of my Sims 3 games and expansion packs. Can you help me through this process?

First method is to go to this page http://www.origin.com/ie/activate , log in and insert your product code/serial there.
Secon method is to do it from the Origin client. Click on "Origin" in the upper left corner and choose "Redeem Product Code...", then insert the code/serial there.
Third option, which I have no experience with myself, is to register the game on http://mypage.thesims3.com , look for "Register a game" link down-left on this page.

If those two methods fail to work then contact customer support, provide then with your codes and request them to add the game and expansion packs manually to your account.
