Dragon Valley CD Key not working

I Purchased a copy of Dragon Valley. When i got it home and started the installation process the CD Key hasn't worked. The sims laucher said that it could not process at this time. I've tried it again and again but it won't work. What should I do next?

Where are you trying to redeem the code ? On the website or through the launcher/game ?

code is redeemed here: https://store.thesims3.com/myAccount.html and afterwards it should be in your store purchase history to download. Did you check if it shows up there ? https://store.thesims3.com/purchaseHistory.html
