Download sims3 onto my new computer?

My PC broke, and I want to play it on my MAC, since sims is the only origin game i own that works on mac. I open Origin and push play, but I cant play it. I cant find anywhere to dowload the sims I already bought either. I have looked all over the internet for an answer, none had solid conclusions. I cant go back to my PC and dowlaod the old sims files, plus that wouldnt work for macs anyways. I thought you could authorize sims on like 5 computers? Im not buying a second copy, thats soo much money!!! I barely got to play it on my PC, wish I could figure this piut...This is so annoying!! Thanks for reading my question, I hope I figure this out 
So Origin says the game is installed and you can play it on that computer allthough you have never downloaded it ? You did download the client for macs, right ?
