Create A World Tool Issue

So I cannot finish installing CAWT for Sims 3. It says I don't own the game? Is it because I purchased it on steam? I'll give any other info if needed. Can I please get helped?

@LostInTheWind101  CAW does work on Steam, if you're willing to fiddle with your computer's registry.  (Make sure to back up the entire registry before doing anything else.)  You also need to download the version of CAW that's made for patch 1.67, not 1.69.  The older version is less buggy, anyway.
