Can I get a download code for a game that I have on a disc? [ Edited ]

I just bought a new laptop that does not have a disc drive.  I own the sims 3 and the sims 3 pets but they are both discs and I have no way of putting them on my new computer. Is there any way I can get a download code so I can download it? I have the regisration codes for the copies I have to prove I bought them.

Hey @raemariee! There should be a code in the case that you bought your disk in for the expansions and game. Even if you don't have a disk drive, you can install them easily. When you are on the Origin homepage (if you don't know what Origin is, it is basically the platform that EA puts all of their games on. Here's the link to download it-https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/download), click on "My Game Library". At the top, there will be a little plus sign that says "Add A Game". When you click on it, you should be able to enter your code. I hope this helps! Happy Simming!
