Blue lots on Sims 3

I’ve recently been playing the Sims 3 on my new Lenovo Ideapad 305 laptop that runs windows 10. I preciously played on a Sony Vaio (running win7) with little problem.
However, since I’ve been using the Lenovo, I’ve noticed when it gets to winter, the lots turn a blueish hue with a definite border against the rest of the playing world. Googling this seems to bring up Mods issues, but I don’t play with any CC Mods. I’ve even uninstalled and reinstalled everything, yet it still happens.
My graphics details are pictured along with the issue.
