no donuts awarded after completing weekly challenge (Christmas 2015)

Hi - has anyone the same problem ? I just completed the 100 merrymakers and received the Maggie snow-baby, but no 20 donuts for completing the weekly challenge ... also having trouble contacting EA Help - have lodged a ticket.

Tried rebooting and logging out and back in again but just says I have completed everything.

Hoping this will be fixed ...
