This Forum is provided by EA but is designed as Player helping/advising other Players.
It is a mistake. Two years ago the costume was free and the Palace optional. This time it is a package.
If you have the Ice Princess but not the castle, the quests starts again. BUT this time it triggered the premium quest instead of the one task quest that we all got with the costume.
It is very annoying and wrong.
This is not the first time this has happened with re-releases. the Collider requires a second premium item to finish.
This will end in the same situation. Time will run out and the required premium building will no longer be avilable so you get stuck for real.
Not funny, not cool.
Hopefully this will be fixed.
Contact EA support http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/ and ask for a gameadvisor. Same login as the game.
Report it as a technical issue.
