Why are the same tasks appearing but not showing as part of a quest?

On a few characters of mine, I have 4 hour tasks relating to poems which are showing in yellow, as if they are part of a quest. I’ve checked every quest including the ones that have been “boxed” and I’m unable to find the quest that they’re supposedly part of. I’ve sent all of the characters that have this, on the task and completed them several times but I can’t get it to stop appearing. It’s really annoying because when I’m cycling through characters it tends to show me this task first before the specific time tasks I’ve been selecting on other characters. How can I get this to stop? Does anyone know what it’s for?

The tasks are from the event Love, Springfieldian Style (valentine event).

Other players have noted that they still have the tasks too if they did not finish the event, for example:

Many thanks Muhsterino for your quick reply. You are correct, this is my problem. As suggested on the page you linked to me, I am contacting EA to see if they can remove the questline. Thanks again.

@CharlotteWazzil Did this get resolved Charlotte? I have the same issue and EA havent responded to my emails
