Simpsons Tapped Out works on one device, not the other

I have this game on my android phone and my ipad, while my husband has it on his android phone.  We have the exact same phone.  Periodically the game hasn't worked on my ipad, but I have never had a problem with it working on my phone.  For the last week, it hasn't loaded at all on my ipad and only loads one time out of 50 tries on my phone.  Yet my husband hasn't had any trouble at all with it loading on his phone.  What am I suppose to do?  This is super frustrating!
