Simpsons Tapped Out Squeaky Voice Teen bug?

I've now got a duplicate Squeeky Voice Teen too thanks to him being in Krustyland when I opened my mystery box, contacted EA and all they've said is to watch this forum until they come up with a solution. Great :/

I emailed to complain and was rewarded 15 doughnuts. Not quite the 30 it should of been but much better than a parking lot or fence!

Who did you email? I have a 2nd squeaky voice teen sitting in my inventory, too.

This just happened to me (same as others, he was in Grandstand, I opened the box in Springfield, now he's in my inventory). As was requested by sirduncanthetall, please advise who you emailed to get something.

Also, does anyone know when EA is going to fix this bug? It seems to have been going on for a while now, based on the number of posts.

Unfortunately, EA has advised that they are not replacing duplicate items with something else. The community manager advises that you have to put in inventory and move on. Just last week I personally was told by EA Game Advisor they are working on it but are NOT replacing duplicate items. If you are not aware don't open up mystery box or Homer Buddha in Krustyland or when you have a premium character in Krustyland or you will get another lemon tree squeaky voiced teen or moleman. There are even a few that have three of  something. I myself am out WAY more than a dozen donuts due to EA glitch and a senior analyst with EA still would not refund my lost money or donuts. I was told by EA employee quotes" don't worry about it".  I have been told by other players that they didn't even get any response back at all. They don't care if you used donuts that you bought with your own money on a Homer Buddha so I know they wouldn't be concerned with those who got duplicate items from the free five day mystery box. I'm sorry but I don't agree with policy. But maybe in future they will do something but I wouldn't hold my breathe.
