Simpsons Tapped Out Graphic layering glitch on iOS

Does anyone know how to resolve the graphics layering issue where objects are not being display properly?  Characters walking under buildings, monorail sections disappearing behind buildings, etc...

A player shared a solution that worked for him here and a few others: Overlapping since Xmas 2015 update. 

Give it a try. If it doesn't work, I would recommend to contact support (do not report it as a bug, since you will be redirected here on AHQ. Select Technical support - Game performance).

I don't have rakes, monorails, or gold gates. I have deleted the app, rebooted, then re-added, I have moved back and forth between all my friend's Springfields and their Kristylands as well as my own, I went through all my menus several times and nothing is fixing my iPhone layering problem. I don't own an android.😞 Anything else I should try?

As recommended above, contact support - do not report the issue as a bug. The advisors will escalate your case to a specialized team.
