Simpsons Tapped Out: Can’t finish a quest

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if there’s a way to fix it?

I am unable to finish the recent quest “No Business Like Snow Business Pt. 2” as it requires the character Herb Tannenbaum to do a job (whom I don’t have, nor can I purchase). Which means I can’t complete the quest, so now it’s just stuck there..

Hey guys, there is an update available in your device's appstore that fixes this problem!
In no business like Snow Business pt. 2 and 3, Herb Tannenbaum's work is no longer needed unless owned. If not owned, at the end of Pt. 2, it will be unlocked.

Contact EA and ask for Herb nicely or ask them to remove or finish that task

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve since contacted them twice for assistance and haven’t received any solution from them. I will keep trying though.

Yes me too, this is driving me bonkers as it’s just stuck on my quest list. I’ve tried everything and it won’t go away.
