New first time Simpsons login: An error has occurred processing login.

There are several posts here about this error but no solutions.

I've created a new EA account that I can log into but when I try to log into the Simpsons Tapped Out for the first time I get the error " An error has occurred processing the login. Please retry. "

i've retried this on an iphone and an ipad that someone else can log into their SImpsons on.

One reply from a few years ago said to contact EA via email but there is no option to do this.

please help.
