Same here, crash started after the "confront lady duff" questline. I've been through 4 chat sessions now. after the third one they had restored my springfield from before that questline. Without knowing that was the trigger, i started it again. After that it crashed again when clicking on the revenge button from the tap ball menu... I'm waiting for an email from the specialists again. But no one, from EA who i talked to, seem to know the problem. Hope they get a fix soon. I've been playing from almost the very beginning and they stil haven't learned from their mistakes. It's been almost every event they release, a general bug is released onto lots of people. I'd rather have less event's which work then this!!!

What are the chances they will release a patch, do you think? I'd rather not get bogged down calling an EA rep if I can avoid it.

This is Grace again; I was the Specialist assisting you with The Simpsons: Tapped Out earlier today. I am sorry for the delay in emailing you back. Professor Frink is 'experimenting' with our systems again.... We have asked him not to, but he does what he wants! 'Gla-hay-vin hoi-ven'!
Since my last email, we have been alerted that there is an ongoing crash issue within Tapped Out. The usual tricks have not fixed it, so the TSTO team have already sprung into action to save the day. They will be releasing a small update to resolve this issue within the next few hours. As a big TSTO fan myself, I just can't resist tap-tap-tapping away on it, so any time away will always sting! Just sit tight, and it will be fixed in no time at all!
Try again in a couple of hours, and you should be able to get back in then (it may prompt an update first). You won't have to re-install the app or anything, just sign back in!
