I have done the new update today 14 of jan, only to discover that I've gone from been level 37 to level 19 and it doesn't look like my town at all

Hi, it happened to me too.

I am playing on a iPad (3rd gen)

I am using iOS (the lastest version)

I am using my origin login

Please help!!  I went from Maxed out level 37 to level 13.

To those that have lost their town

uninstall your game and then download/reinstall the game again you should get your town back to pre-updated version then don't update keep an eye on the forums for permanent solution

Me too, from lvl37 to a random lvl22.

I'm using an iPhone5 on iOS 7.0.4, & I use my origin account to login. Have force stopped, unistalled/er-installed & it's okay pre-update but as soon as I install the update my town is gone & the lvl22 town is thrown at me.

I lost my town too And I just unlocked the final premium item on the spin wheel this morning.... ugh.

First I updated the game in the App Store, then on first launch it updated again from the servers. After logging in I have a lvl 11 town that I've never built, ever... All my friends still appear to be added. What a bummer...

Same thing happened to me. Currently back on the Christmas version. To answer your questions
1) iPhone 5 and ipad mini retina
2) both on iOS 7.0.4
3) Origin login
