Friends mode crashing

Every time I click the friends button (Mulhouse and Bart) my game crashes and goes to my phone Home Screen. I presume this is down to my ‘old friends’ from many years ago have inactive accounts. I want to use the friends function but can’t. So is there anyway I can remove those friends? I have no way to view their springfields or get to the visit other springfields screen… I have emailed EA countless times and they haven’t offered any help.

@clkupai Your problem probably has nothing to do with your inactive neighbors. Removing your friends, even without the game, is still possible by connecting and LOGIN on the ORIGIN website https://www.origin.com/my-home
Or download the ORIGIN client to your PC.
