Friend not showing

So I had the simpsons game on my old phone and I had a friend on there and now that friend doesn’t show on my new phone. I’m using the same account I did on my old phone too. But in my friends end it shows  that we are friends and he can visit my village but on my end I can not visit theirs

@MasterJdawg14 There are two types of friendships displayed in the game, those via EA / ORIGIN account and those via link to FACEBOOK.
Which of the two categories does your friend belong to?
It also often happens that friends disappear; they are momentary fluctuations in the EA network connection.
They come back on their own (sometimes immediately, others after a few hours), or, sometimes just close the app, remove it from the recent ones and reopen it .. in any case you can check the list of your friends by connecting to the ORIGIN site and logging in , or via the EA PLAY PC client.
