Can't Recive/Send Friend Requests

Hi,

So I've been having this problem for like a few weeks that I can't receive/send friend requests. Please help!

That is strange.

It should have buttons at the bottom for adding, see this post https://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Simpsons-Tapped-Out/Adding-Removing-friends-in-The-Simpsons-Tapped-Out...

Have you done any trouble shooting?

Basic Trouble shoot

Resynch by visiting a friend or going to Krustyland
Log out/Log in
Hardclose game
Restart device
Clear cache
Free up space

Load on another device
Try a different wifi/connection/internet/broadband

If connected to EA/Origin: do a delete/reinstall of the game
If you play Anonymously a delete/reinstall will get your game lost

This is what you can do on your own, if this does not help, contact support.

Hi all,

while I have not seen this screen cap I've seen many threads over the years of people not being able to add friends, not sure if it was the same issue as this.

@minicha-em I would give the same advice as you did. 

EDIT: I reread and the OP said they have been only playing for a few weeks. Maybe they haven't got to the friends part yet? Has Professor Fink appeared to you in the game?

Fink explains other Springfield's then the game prompts you to add 5 friends. I can't remember if you can add friends as soon as you start playing.

I started a new town, Frink enters at level 3, at level 5 I'm able to add friends. I got the screen that says no friends etc. because I didn't add anybody, but I'm not logged in. My other screen asks me to sign in.

to the OP, did you click the badge? The badge I believe lets you add friends, the hand shake lets you accept incoming friend requests.
