Any luck fixing the broken layer integrity bug?

In my Simpsons: Tapped Out game it looks like the jpeg layer integrity is broken. EA has tried to get me to accept that they don't know how to fix it by giving me donuts. This has been happening since the initial Halloween download back on 10/3. My game has looked like a jumbled mess since then, with no fix in sight. 

The response has been, essentially, "Yeah, that sure does suck." 

Anyone get this fixed lately? Anyone having this same problem?

I showed my game to a few friends who worked for Blizzard and they cracked up. They were also not too surprised with the EA response I've been offered so far.

If this is the same layering issue I had all you need to do is move the Sideshow Bob rakes. Nobody gave me free donuts for it though. Hope this solves your problem!

I don't have rakes, monorails, or gold gates. I have deleted the app, rebooted, then re-added, I have moved back and forth between all my friend's Springfields and their Kristylands as well as my own, I went through all my menus several times and nothing is fixing my iPhone layering problem. 😞 Anything else I should try?
