Abandoned Warehouse trouble

After making purchase, I am unable to place the abandoned warehouse.  Old Abandoned Warehouse is in an orange font as others to be purchased are in white.  Not sure if this has anything to do with it.  Cannot complete quest without this building.

Daft question, but are you trying to place it on Squidport? It can only be placed there and not on the mainland. Does the taskbar show the task as "Baking Bread Part 6"?

surly codger is retired.

The abandoned warehouse can only go on Squidport tiles or on dirt.

Yellow text is only to highlight something you need soon or the game wants you to buy.
