Unfortunately, no. You are stuck and out of luck. Per the community manager put in inventory and move on. EA is aware of problem and are working on it but they are not replacing duplicate items with something else at this time. So you know NEVER open up mystery box or Homer Buddha in Krustyland or when you have a premium character in Krustyland or you will get another lemon tree squeaky voiced teen or moleman. I was advised by EA myself a couple of weeks ago. Sorry. Maybe once they fix glitch they will do something about it.
