Hi folks,
I've merged some similar reports into this existing thread on the topic. When you get a moment, please check out EA_Cade's post (I'll quote it below) and pop in a report directly via The Sims 4 Gallery Profanity Filter Feedback Survey.
@EA_Cade wrote:
As part of EA’s Positive Play Charter, The Sims 4 Gallery is switching from a profanity word list, which was very rigid and prone to becoming outdated over time as language evolves, to a more context-aware system that can be updated frequently without the need for game updates. This allows us to customize the experience to The Sims 4 allowing you the freedom to express yourself on your Gallery uploads.
While we have high expectations for this new technology on The Sims 4 Gallery to catch most violations, there may be cases that slip through the cracks or are detected and flagged when they shouldn’t be.
This is an invite to all Simmers to help improve accuracy, and make the Gallery a welcoming place for all, by providing your feedback via The Sims 4 Gallery Profanity Filter Feedback Survey.
The ability to report content in the Gallery to EA will remain and that process is unchanged. So while we appreciate your feedback here, please continue to play safe and report content when needed.

I first had this particular issue with ordinary names in the households description being called "bad words" on 5/23/24. Yes, I've had weird Galley/name issues in the past but not like this.
So on 5/23, I saved four sims/households to my Library. They are siblings with the same last name. I usually name the households with First & Last names.
(listed in the order that I shared them)
1, Alexander, shared with no problems.
2, Cassandra is a bad word, but only in the description (not in the household name or the sims name in CAS).
3, Derek is a bad word, but only in the description.
4, Fiona is a bad word, but only in the description.
Okay so next batches (I'm doing a breeding project (TS2 PV families with new last names) so I have a bunch to share) and each batch of 3 or 4 siblings were shared at different times (usually a few hours between).
I'm pretty sure my "McKay Triplets" household with Angela, Danny & Lilith shared without trouble. - - Just checked and they shared without issue.
Then,
1, Lucy, shared with no problems.
2, Mike is a bad word, but only in the description.
3, Norman is a bad word, but only in the description.
4, Natalie is a bad word, but only in the description.
Then,
1, Don is a bad word, but only in the description.
2, Eddie is a bad word, in CAS & the Household name (not sure about the description because I automatically did my workaround and didn't fully read the bad words message when it first popped up over his name).
3, Elsie is a bad word, but only in the description.
My workaround is to add _ (or a space) between letters (ex: E_l_s_i_e).
I often start my descriptions like this:
"Don is the son of Nicolo & Adriana Maynard"
Weirdly enough, I haven't had any last names be called "bad words" in the past couple days, just their first names and like I said, only in the description (except for Eddie).

Thank you for your answer Crin. I tried to change the description, I also tried to delete it. Still got the error "disallowed sim name" message. I then tried to change the title. Tried of course different names for my sims. Went into their orientations and changed things to see if it could help. But still no luck. A friend of mine, who is playing in french too, could not upload her household yesterday with this same problem. Today she tried again, she did not change anything, and it worked. It seems totally random.

I created them myself.
I did think about splitting them but I really want them uploaded together as a group of 8.
So I will just create a new sim later and hope for more luck.
Thank you so much for your help !

Reporting back with what I just had happen when sharing to the Gallery.
Three sims, three households.
1, Dina - shared with no issues.
2, Nina - has a "disallowed word" (before it was bad word) but again only in the description (not in the household name or the sims name in CAS). I thought it was her moms name, though it was fine in Dina's description (and fine when I shared my new Nighat somewhat recently) so I did my workaround with Nighat (N_i_g_h_a_t) and was then able to share Nina.
3, Mason - (same parents) Again has a "disallowed word" but this time, I just did my work around on Mason's name (M_a_s_o_n) and was then able to share him.
It seemed like as long as I did the workaround with at least one name in the description, it then worked to share the sim. All 3 have the same parents, which were named in their description (Flamenco & Nighat). Dina and Nina's also mention that the other was their twin sister.
This honestly makes no sense.
