why am i banned

I recently got banned from Apex, but I haven'y played in over a year. I haven't even opened Origin recently until I bought Fallen order on steam and it automatically opens Origin. Does buying a game on steam get you permanently banned? I didn't cheat on Apex when I played it so I don't get it. I tried emailing EA but I get a generic response with no info.
