updating failing and dropping to 0kb/ps

ive dont some 54 g update and then it does a smaller 16 g update and then gets to 13g and then all of a sudden my dowload rate goes to 0 .  ive tried to cancel the update and then it deltes the 54g update files and i have to wait for it to reinstall just for it to make it to 13g and it dies and just says patching files.please help.

Connect to your router with a cable rather than wirelessly and then reboot both your PC and the router; once that is done you should retry, thanks.
