Guys, looks like changing your DNS to Google ones fixes this issue. This means that EA changed their name resolution recently and ISP's across the world did not replicate the changes yet.

Changing the DNS looks to be working for others. @SplitterRO  is referencing this thread.

Getting same unable to connect message on the splash screen as well. I do have a server list, but it doesn't matter which one i choose (tried 3 different ones). Outside of game internet connection seems fine.

Can you all try the following and get back to us on whether these steps fix it?

  • Right-click on the game in your library and select Repair/Update
  •  Launch the game
  • If you still get an error, open up the EAC in your Apex Legends folder and use the repair option.

@EA_Blueberry I've already tried everything. You can check out this thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/error-cloud-syncing-data-Apex/td-p/8343314/page/2

This seems to be an Outage related to connectivity. Probaly EA's network is not accepting any new client connections. This could be due to a security patch on their end on switches or firewalls. If I only could get some of the IPs EA uses for inbound connections I could do a trace and tell you exactly how the traffic is routed.

@EA_Blueberry Also check this: https://downdetector.com/status/apex-legends/map/
Too many people affected to be a client issue. Common sense, right?
