im just curious because it was all one clip and seems he got the full clip into me but he was a fortified character does it onky fit 9 hits or reset after every miss? yellow being one head shot*

Reset when he missed.  So one clip one headshot with one bullet miss. 

First been 8 hit Marks 100 damage no headshots. Miss, reset count  9 hits 1 headshot.

Total 17 hit Marks
