Hi everyone,

We are investigating reports of some PC players who cannot launch the game and see the "The application encountered an unrecoverable error." message instead.

To help out this investigation, we are asking all players who experience this error to upload their log of it to this thread as an attachment.

This log contains no personal information and will help out our investigation team by showing potential variants or commonalities between players experiencing this issue.

• Upload with a Google Drive account
  • How to upload files to Google Drive: LINK
  • How to share files from Google Drive: LINK
    • Please set the file(s) to be shared for Public access
  • Click “Get shareable link”
  • The resulting file download URL can be included in a forum post, private message, etc.

What information do we require: 

• DXDiag (Here is a guide on how to get the DXDiag created on your PC)
• MsInfo32 (Here is a guide on how to get the MsInfo created on your PC)

  • Type msinfo32 in the Search box.

  • Right-click System Information in the search results and select Run as administrator.

• Your HYP8E.tmp file

  • Your log can be found here: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\HYP8E.tmp

@EA_rephii I got that error message but I have these tmp files instead of the HYP8E. Is it okay if I send one of these? After all, these are memory dumps consisting of the same error.

If you want HYP98E, I'll send the rar file in the other message.

I can't send the HYP98E.tmp file on rar, it says: "This file is too large. The maximum file size is 10240K; this file is 60575K."

could you merge them into a .zip or .rar file? This one should be smaller, and you should then be able to upload them here.

original size is 60 MB and after compress to zip/rar the file change to 51 mb only

you are EA staff but didnt know the system LoL

I hope it will be fixed soon. We are paying much money for this game and you screw up the release every year...

Dont worry guys, i only have like a dozen of 60mb logs building up everytime i try something different! In case you are wondering why your PC is filling up if you spam load it :D
