:: micro stuttering on PC after swapping from origin to new app...

im on PC, using 6900xt and 5600 CPU. so plenty powerful enough to run and was doing fine until we swapped from origin to the new EA app. now i get random stutters in NFS.
it basically freezes my car for a second (online racing) and then i see all the cars magically catch up. so it seems my car is freezing in a spot. is this netcode problem? anyone else have this? was fine last week,
