Mass effect andromeda game will not start after Patch

Cloud Synching, greying out Play button, but a second later its just as if nothing happened.

I had the same issue after updating. I ended up chatting with support. They had me open the game using "Run as Administrator" and it worked! Her also said that it was a problem with Origin and not the game. He also said that a patch would be out soon to fix this. FYI only.

Got the missing dll error after installing update.

Before reinstalling game try uninstalling and reinstalling the c++ redistributable.

I used the 2015 version because that's what it mentions during update and that fixed it for me.

Same here. Restarting Client, PC and repairing the game didn't work for me too :/

Same problem as OP. I click play and . . . nothing happens, try rebooting, nothing happens. Been playing the game fine so far, but now I can't even touch it.

Ok... going offline in origin worked for me. I started the game, switched back to online modus in origin, but in the game i was still offline. Tried to connect to mp and voila i was finally online in the game too

The game won't launch for me after the patch. Reinstall, repair, nothing helps. The PLAY button flashes twice, my chat window says I am in the game but nothing happens.

Going offline didn't work for me, still the same black screen.
