login issues/password change

ok so this one is weird to me..im coming back after years of not playing and. im requesting a password change and to do so i need the security key. so i dl the app and i need a serial number for that. i seen things for a one time password but doing the steps for that to pop up dont even work it just says invalid log in. so i somehow need to remove the key from my account and go from there?

My friend just started playing star wars the old republic.   So i went to play the game and i cant change my password.   I put my username in and my old password WITH security key (which i still have) and it doesnt work.  When i go to change my password it just says an error has occured.  How can i fix this?
