(i5 6600k)GTX 1060 6GB 1080p has extremely low fps after TheyShallNotPass launch

[ Edited ]
★★★ Novice

No matter how much I lower the video quality, my GTX 1060 6GB can't run the new They Shall Not Pass maps with stable 60 fps 1080p.

Software: Win 10 Pro with latest update
Storage: SSD M.2
GPU: Palit GTX 1060 6GB DUAL OC
CPU: i5 6600k @3.60GHz
RAM: 16GB @2133MHz

ALREADY TRIED:

-Updating to the latest Nvidia Drivers, which didn't change anything
-Lowering the quality, from ULTRA to LOW, yet can't hit 60 fps stable
-Changing from DX11 to DX12, which proved to be of no use
-Reinstalling the game, fps still stuck at 30
-Deactivating Origin In Game from Origin's Application Settings & BF1's Properties

EDIT: I was able to run the 4 new maps 1080p ULTRA 60fps stable in the CTE
EDIT2: Turns out vanilla maps were also affected, can't get over 30

I've added a screenshot of my GPU's power usage when running Verdun DX12 1080p ULTRA (max fps was 30)

Have you guys tried turning off Origin in in game in both the Origin global settings and under the BF1 settings?

Hero

Try deleting (after taking a backup) the Nvidia shader cache.

It's located in: C:\Temp\NVIDIA

I've also had this problem, and it makes no sense.

I have disabled shadowplay, reinstalled my drivers, reinstalled the game, checked to see if it was broken via Origin, monitored CPU usage (never hit 100% usage), RAM & GPU usage (never fully used), clean booted, deleted user config file, enabled DX12 due to the performance boosts it gives in the latest drivers, lowered all settings to low (and even res scale to 0), and still, nothing has worked.

It's been happening before TSNP. I use to get 120-144 FPS.

Nor are there any files in my Temp folder

PC Specs:

Windows 10

i7-6700 @3.40ghz

16GB DDR4 RAM

GTX1080 8GB

I did:

- uninstall bf1

- rename "battlefield 1" folder in documents

- install bf1 from origin

and now all is good again Standard smile

so maybe that will help someone

"Reviving" my month old post about low fps with 1060 6GB after TSNP DLC release

Hello, I can't run BF1 since the They Shall Not Pass DLC was released. Before the update I'd get 60 fps stable, 1080p, everything ULTRA. After the update, no matter how much I turn down the graphics I can't hit 60 fps (when everything is on low I get 50 fps max).

Specs:
Palit GTX 1060 6GB
i5-6600k @ 3.6 GHz
16GB DDR4 RAM @ 2133 MHz
Windows 10 Pro
BF1 installed on SSD M.2

ALREADY TRIED:
-Updating to the latest Nvidia Drivers, which didn't change anything
-Lowering the quality, from ULTRA to LOW, yet can't hit 60 fps stable
-Changing from DX11 to DX12, which proved to be of no use
-Reinstalling the game for the second time, fps still stuck at 30 (ULTRA)
-Deactivating Origin In Game from Origin's Application Settings & BF1's Properties

Original thread and why I made another one: http://answer.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/i5-6600k-GTX-1060-6GB-1080p-has-extremely-low-fps-after/td-...
I've spent 110 euros on BF1 and I've not been able to play BF1 since the TSNP DLC hit the Live Version, which is more than a month. Since the original thread wasn't noticed by dice and this is still an issue, I think I have the right to make another one.
