hello everybody
my problem is that : since i have just enabled directx12 in bf1
i cant see any thing in the screen just i can hear the music
how i can fix my problem ?
every time i was trying to start the game
when the video of the game starts ... after 20 seconds the game crashes
my only reason for enabling the directx12 was that
my english is not good

1) Go to file system's folder:
(My) Documents -> Battlefield 1 -> settings -> PROFSAVE_Profile
2) Open that file with some Text editor (e.g. Notepad) and find "GstRender.Dx12Enabled 1" and change it to 0
3) or you can delete the file and you Will get default settings.
4) Start the game

Enabling DirectX 12 can cause some issues with the game. I also recommend to disable DX 12 as @Mikimuster3 said.

My friend got the same problem too , she could play this game before reinstall her operating system , but now the game just crashed after she ran it , no error or stopped working report , the game window just dispear like she never run it .
I told her to check the folder you said but she couldn't even find that PROFSAVE_Profile in her folder , only meta.xml , PROFSAVE and PROFSAVE_Profile_synced in it , and she can't find "GstRender.Dx12Enabled" in them too .
She has already updated her graphics driver and fixed the game with origin client but nothing helped .
Could you please help her ? Thank you a lot !

Hi @itsukashid0 I think it would be great to get her DxDiag file (How to create: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/ ). Also, she could join this topic to avoid any miscommunication. PROFSAVE_profile is a configuration file that should be created automatically after first launch of the game. Can she try to run the game in Origin Offline Mode ( In Origin client click on Origin button and select "Go Offline")? In this way the game will automatically launch as a Singleplayer only. Let her try to play Singleplayer. If that doesn't help, try these steps again but run a clean boot on the PC before: https://help.ea.com/tr/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
