Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play game normally.
What happens when the bug occurs? Car in random position in player's garage is swapped with another storage garage car.
What do you expect to see? Random car you are not and have not used is now in one of the 4 stored slots instead of one you had selected.

Seems to be random issue. Sometimes when entering player's garage to select a different car, the expected car has been stored in inventory and isn't in the quick 4 slot selection as it was a short while before. Occurred frequently with the pre-order pick up truck.
