game won't load

Went to start game and message came up saying there was a new client. Went to Play store and it said there was an update. But it stays on download pending. I was just on an hour or so earlier and it worked. What's up?

When starting swgoh it says new client available. On pressing OK takes me to play store to update  Keep getting error message can't upgrade. Done all troubleshooting still not working.
