I am getting an error code 918

I am getting an error code 918. It is saying that my account is restricted from accessing online features. Are the servers down, because my wifi connection is intact and my account has not been banned.

Also getting this on PS4 along with two of my friends. One works for EA. Two of my other friends that we played with have been playing online earlier than us with no issue. It seems to have popped up within the last hour.

@EA_Barry Can we get a different pop-up message. If this is being thrown up due to a server crash, it gives the impression it's due to the account being banned.

@KingSiafa It's not a ban. It's just EA servers screwing up. This has happened before.

Same here on PC. Tried restarting BF2 and Origin, signing out and in Origin with no luck. Did not have this issue last night though :P

Don’t worry I got it error code as well looks like it’s down on Xbox as well same with my steam version
