constant scrolling to top of menu, cannot play

Game seems to think there's some sort of constant 'up' input.  I've unplugged my HOTAS, mouse input does nothing.  If i press S or Down arrow, it takes moves down in the menu but straight back up anytime I release the 'down' input.

@EA_Atic I did not have any other actual peripherals connected.  I noticed though, that the joystick defaulted to vjoy, which apparently was the issue.  Had to uninstall vjoy in order to get my actual hotas selected.

How exactly did you uninstall vjoy?

I think I'm having the same problem. I uninstalled vjoy through the Apps page in settings, and I no longer see it in the device manager. But I do still see it as an option in the "usb game controllers" menu. I'm still having the scroll issue in squadrons. Any help?
