charging extra for energy refreshes

I bought one of the discounted crystal packs, used one cantina and one regular energy refresh. When I went to go do a second refresh, the game tried charging 100 crystals instead of 50.  We normally get 3 standard refreshes before there is an increase in cost for energy. Giving out a discounted crystal pack then charging more for energy without saying anything is shady at best and I'm extremely unhappy with the crystal pack purchase now that the value of said crystals has been diminished.
