I used an autoexec file to bind scroll wheel up to forward and interact, I have been using this for a long time but today I got banned. I told my friends about this and they said that's what caused me to get banned. Is it true that I could have gotten banned for using an autoexec file to change a keybind?

This is the text I had in my autoexec file:

"bind_US_standard     "mwheelup"     "+use; +forward"     0 // Interact
