Xbox D pad issues

Everytime i click the left and up buttons on my Xbox D pad in titanfall 2 multiplayer, it doesn't respond to the game. The d pad buttons work when not on the game i think its a bug. If anyone has this issue or knows a way to fix it please tell me as soon as possible.

@Pointpod Hi, sorry this got missed before. So when this happens you can't activate your boost or do a non-emergency eject?

I don't have an Xbox with the game to hand, but I think there's an option to reset/change your button configuration. If you reset/change the button config does that change anything?
