When attempting to log in on BattleFront 2 the email address displayed is one ive not used in over 10 years and the company that provided it no longer exists. I have no option in game to change the email address.
I have just gone through the process of logging a case and having a chat only to be told that the only way for me to play this brand new game is to recover the password for this account I've not used in 10 years and for which the company no longer exists. Case 39340176 was then closed.
How is this an acceptable resolution?
I have a working Xbox live account
I have a working EA account which I am using to post this message
Both accounts use the SAME email account.
Please tell me how to address this issue.

we have the same issue, ea is so unresponsive to try and resolve this. makes me want to never buy an ea game again
