@Achachucha Thanks this worked for me as well trying to update Jedi:Fallen Order. However I was forced to update the client the next time I started it up, but hey I can play my game again... for now.

type msconfig>Services select "Hide all microsoft services" box at the bottom and disable (uncheck) Origin Client Service & Origin Web Helper Service. Restart PC

I've finally fixed this crap permanently.. Thanks to @Etchell for sharing that link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8oYFxy9yHg

And I've fixed it by going to control panel > system and security > security and maintenance and clicking on change user control and drag the slider all the way low... and then I went to services and changing origin client service to disable and applied the settings and restarted the pc.. Boom everything worked smooth.. Just downloaded battlefront 2 and updated some other games.. Damn this was a pain in the butt.. 

Other than this method, @Achachucha method worked perfectly fine but after I download his version, everytime I close origin, origin doesn't let me proceed without updating to the newest version and this error happens again.. MAN EA IS ON PROPER coco
