Why is steam ping higher then ea

I’m wondering why the steam ping is so much higher then ea because on steam I get 178 average but on ea I get 75 average and I kept all the regions the same. Why is this happening

From what I've heard a while back, Steam and EA game servers should pretty much be the same ones, so if you're in-game you shouldn't notice any difference.

Seems like a pretty weird situation, might be a difference in the network route.
