When did 80 become significantly more than 88?

I need a REAL, LOGICAL, 100% full explanation as to why the 78 GOLD Allen Hurns with 80 SPEED can run away from my FULLY UPGRADED 91 SEAN TAYLOR with 88 SPEED and 91 PURSUIT!!!! Not only outrun, but put 7 yards between them from 40 yards out. 1st play out of the gate. Stamina is not a factor, so don't even dare try to pull that card. How can you justify that b*!!$h*+? I'm about sick of this EVERY YEAR. I'M FULLY CONVINCED THAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW NUMBERS ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK. ANY 1st grade elementary school kid can tell you that's not possible in any scenario.
