Apex won't get past "continue" screen on Steam (unplayable intro l

@EA_Kent I have been trying for a little over 3 weeks and reading all the answers in this post and it still does not work, I have installed it on Origin and it works fine, I reinstall Apex on Steam and the same problem happens, I appreciate that you can fix this problem 'cause in steam I have all my friends.

I contacted support and they pretty much said to wait for a hotfix since none of the fixes work. They have no clue when that will happen and no compensation is expected. Awesome.

Did you try the workaround i mentioned a couple pages back ?

Disconnect your internet from the windows settings, load the game normally through steam,  instead of " continue " "retry " will pop up, at that point minimise the game and enable your internet again, when its fully connected again, open the game back up and press retry (you can also try change server sknce some say that has helped them). Fyi It takes awhile for the game to load up, like 5 mins or so, much linger than usual, but it should load.

This works for me everytime, but i have to do it every time i open the game again. Hopefully this works for you too, good luck.

I have the exact same problem on PS4

Created a new account to be able to play the game. It works fine, but I'd rather play on my original account where I got all my unlocked stuff and invested money in.

@EA At least some acknowledgement of this problem would be nice.

No fix in sight huh? Update tomorrow but I doubt that it will be fixed. Let just keep pumping out Skins and content though.
