Video settings won't save

The game won't save my settings after changing the video settings. After I applied them and exit the settings menu it goes straight back to what it used to be... Is this a common thing among others?

Yeah, long story short its when Origin has connection issues.

Ensure to disable cloud storage as mentioned in the guide it should prevent any further issue.

@MISVNTHROPY I had a similar issue where I changed the r_lod_switch_scale to 0 or 1 and when I save it and tick read only and load the game again it did not change anything, the reason why I changed it to 0 or 1 is because I have a low end gaming laptop with 4gb of ram. Every time I go in a real match the game's fps starts dropping like crazy and I can't play normaly . The game was fine the first time I downloaded it even when I changed the vidconfig that time now its practically unplayable for me
