Used Ref number, then paid for subsription and 7 days later my sub ran out

★★★ Newbie

I used a referal code to get a 7 day free subscription, and then the next day I actually bought a full subscription, but now 7 days later my subscription has ran out.

I have the purchase confirmation and everything if needed. Is there any fixes to this? I would really rather not pay for another subscription.

If you login to your account and look at the payment history can you see a fully completed transaction for the subscription ?

you may have an automated email but the question is did the transaction complete and get charged, it is likely the transaction failed hence your sub didnt continue

I looked it up on the cartel coins transaction history, and I can see that I received the complimentary 500 cartel coins for subscribers, so I think it definitely went through.

I think you need to check your bank account and see if money was actually taken, if you cant see the subscription transaction on your swtor account

if you are unsure what has occurred you can call swtor cs and they can look at their end and see exactly what occurred here

if for example you cancel a recurring subscription prior to the free 7 days then nothing would actually be charged

I've actually just seen it on the subscription transaction history, and it says "CLOSED" on there, so it definitely went through and I was charged.

Did you check your bank account and 100% confirm money was deducted, closed does not necessarily mean "successful" and money has actually been charged.

if you are not 100% clear that no money was charged for a sub on ZepranKuolo give swtor cs a call.
